Buy them NOW! for parts

5 year update: If you look at reviews of wiper blades, you probably need new wiper blades. If you need new wiper blades, you can't beat these. Therefore: 1) Unsurpassed clarity! O_O2) Durability is measured in years (I have 5 years of hard use in Florida torrential downpours. Your mileage will be different. For example, I have no snow and no ice.) 3) Rear wipers will be wonderfully quiet 4) How much is yours? Is it worth living? Warning: 1) It takes a little longer to install properly (due to the package preparation process - READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!) 2) Eurocars can be a bit tricky to install 3) They also come in a cheaper conventional version. Frame design (link below!) 4) PIAA support can be tricky PIAA 95060 Super Silicone Wiper Blades - 24 inch 600mm (1 pack) were the best in the business. I bought another pair for my other car and now another pair for DD. In this review, all my experiences are bundled. Basically, if you own a car other than the Euro, BUY IT. Your safety doesn't cost less In short: + Wiper efficiency + Patented silicone coating technology + Economical + Wiper life + Eliminates rear wiper rattle + Flat stem design + Compatible with all non-European vehicles - Takes some time to install properly - Flat bar design is not as streamlined as some . Rumours: - Some European cars have installation issues (Note: PIAA will make wipers for you, make sure you get them if they are available for your application!) - PIAA installation guide may not be accurate - Improved PIAA support : + I used to have an hour to go to work, and like in the Sunshine State, it ALWAYS rains *LIT* on the way back in the evening. Most people would be horrified by such conditions, but I was actually looking forward to getting home early. Most people slowed to under 30mph and got into the slow lane as the rain flooded their cars, but I chose the fast lane at the speed limit with crystal clear views. The patented silicone coating turns raindrops into balls and rolls across the windshield. At 70mph, the effects are profound. I actually laughed at all the people crawling in the slow lane as I sped past. The extinguishing performance is therefore absolutely impressive. My friends are amazed when they ride with me: you have to see it to believe it. Rain-X has nothing to do with this.+ The modern flat design looks better, even if it costs a little more than the old Super Silicone wipers. You can still get the old ones if you want - save a little if you're happy with the old-school look. + Extremely inexpensive. So we know the performance is incredible. Great. But what about the cost? I want to ask you what your security is worth. Wipers are an initial investment, true, but you'll make some money back, and here's why. When they wear out, you can revitalize your wipes with the PIAA refill system. They cost less than buying brand new blades, Super Silicone PIAA or not. So it will take time, but if you switch per change, you'll eventually recoup the cost. See next paragraph. + Wiper life is amazing, the main reason for economy. Here in the Florida sun, wipers are UV resistant. If you really follow the maintenance of your car, 24/7 wiper replacement happens about every 3 months, maybe 6 months to a year. This? No. A friend of mine bought them for his brand new 2007 Mazda3 hatchback and after 5 years they still wipe great. So change after change, in the end everything evens out. However, every once in a while things even out almost immediately. Unfortunately I can't comment on the lifespan of my wipers as the first car I fitted them was counted. + 2 out of 3 of my cars fitted in this way were fast hatchbacks with a rear wiper and I have tried several different wipers on the rear mount. Not a single one has eliminated the chatter so far. The silicone coating blends perfectly with the silicone wipers, making them silent. I know there aren't many hatchbacks these days, but those who have one might find this information useful. If you follow the installation instructions, it takes a little longer than just click-click gossip. - The handlebar design is not as attractive as Valeo's original flat handlebar. - I see that some drivers of European cars have problems with the installation. PIAA recently added a new line of wipers specially designed for your vehicles. I would start with this set of wipers THEN check the PIAA install sheets. See below. Judging by the same feedback, support for the PIAA is mixed. Also according to other reviews, the installation instructions are not that great. Fortunately, I believe Revain has a return policy. Japanese and American cars don't seem to have a problem - I've tried the following cars with great results: Honda (Acura Integra, RSX), GM (Pontiac Firebird), Mazda (3 Hatch, ONLY front wipers), Hyundai (Sonata). ) If you have a European car you generally need to do a little research, but everyone else should buy it. Get the right length, of course, but buy it. For a small initial investment and less over time, you get the best rain protection. At least until the patent expires.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Too long to wait
