Review on 📷 Netatmo NSC01US - WiFi Enabled Wireless Indoor Security Camera with Movement Detection by Malik Munns

The only reason I haven't replaced my Canary devices with Netatmo Welcome devices is that Canary's features win out in terms of GPS Geo Fence capabilities. Netatmo does a great job of allowing you to limit recording based on GPS location and face recognition, but does NOT give you the option to enable/disable monitoring based on geofencing. Simply put, this means that while the device won't record you, it won't prevent an authorized viewer from using the live monitoring feature to see you. If you have a family member who is worried about real-time monitoring, Canary is the best product. All in all, Netatmo offers a lot of privacy-related features that shouldn't be overlooked. This includes everything from storing data locally on the device to notifications and integration with HomeKit. I should note that I still use Netatmo Presence cameras for outdoor recording, but have chosen Canary for my indoor needs. If Netatmo supports the ability to enable/disable real-time monitoring via geolocation, I will reconsider my use of Canary.
