The DualSense gamepad is the absolute worst controller I have ever used. I have used gamepads from a variety of various ages, price points, and console generations, and this one is by far the worst. To begin, the grip is not nearly as good as it is on the DualShock 4. Despite the fact that they made it bigger, and despite the fact that I enjoy wrapping my small palms around huge gamepads, it fits less comfortably in the hands of the older generation. Additionally, the lifespan of these gamepads is significantly shorter than that of any other product in this price range. The vibration motors and the motors that increase the resistance of the triggers are the first to exit the inside of their sticks and triggers when they begin to fail. I just finished writing about functions that aren't necessary, and so. No matter how ardently (or not so ardently) Sony fans try to mislead you, none of the new features can deliver the same level of excitement that they consistently struggle to convey when talking about these gamepads. Adaptive triggers are fascinating only as a novelty for a couple of times, after which you turn them off because they do not deliver the delight of immersion, but they can impair the lively gameplay. Adaptive triggers are interesting only as a novelty for a couple of times, after which you turn them off. The use of vibration motors all over the body and in the triggers is not necessary and does not justify itself. It does vibrate differently, but when they do so independently, the vibration is so feeble that it cannot actually be felt. Yes, it does vibrate differently. This is notably the case with regard to the vibration that is produced by the triggers. You're saying it's like firing from a machine gun, aren't you? Do not trust it, the most that will happen is that your finger will itch. Even in games that are considered to be exclusive to a particular system, the good old touchpad, which is by no means an invention, is nevertheless completely useless. And to top it all off, the vast majority of game developers do not adjust to these new features in any manner. As a consequence, at best, they do not work at all, and at worst, they do nothing but interfere with the gameplay. If all of this were removed, a larger battery could be fitted, and the sensor could be replaced with the same four more buttons; as a result, the gamepad would become significantly more reliable and a lot less expensive. On the PlayStation 5, there are sadly no alternatives available, but happily, there are on the PC. The burgundy variant, on the other hand, has a really hip and trendy appearance. A few thoughts about the vendor: the order was delivered on time and without any problems; it would be helpful if there were more vendors like this on the Market.
