What I didn't like about my previous steamer

I have been using steam for cleaning for many years. When I was about 14, my mom bought a multi-purpose steamer and has been using it ever since. When I moved by myself I bought a steamboat and my mother improved it. Have been using it ever since. It finally broke after 10+ years so I know a thing or two about steam cleaning and there are some tricks. I chose this one because it has a large water tank and lots of features. Things I didn't like about my previous vape. Pros: Large water tank - doesn't mean you have to fill it up all the way. If you fill it all the way up, the steam and heat can't expand and you won't get good pressure or volume of vapor. This applies to ALL COUPLES. If you overrun them, it won't work. Fill it about halfway to 75% - I use an old small pot and can steam A LOT without refilling. Long power cord - I can roll this thing through the kitchen, dining room, living room, and hallway without having to unplug it. Admittedly, I don't have a big house, but the cord is the same or even longer than my vacuum cleaner cord. It's nice not having to unplug and plug in every room. Long Steam Hose - This hose is incredibly long. It doesn't lose pressure or heat while still remaining strong. I can place the tank in the middle of the hallway or kitchen and still reach everything I want to steam. The steam control on the handle is a very cool feature that I've never had before! I can customize how much steam I get for different tasks. I adjusted it several times while vaping and it is a very useful feature. I can use gentle steam on light objects, vertical surfaces or fabrics. I can have heavy steam for bathrooms and kitchen utensils or old/thick hard stuff. Gauge - I like it but I don't need it. It just seems frustrating to people who don't understand how pressure vessels work. Yes, the sensor obviously climbs higher than the maximum the car can climb. It's kind of a safety feature, because if it hits the top of the scale, how do you know what the actual pressure is? If something went wrong and the pressure rose higher than expected, you wouldn't know. I also see a lot of people complaining about a pressure drop from 4 to 2. Yes. Yes, you relieve pressure, but it takes time. But you can still steam down to 2 just fine; I did this about half an hour before the end of the day. And if you wait maybe five minutes, it goes back to 4. By the way, it only takes MAYBE fifteen minutes to heat up from the start of room temperature. And I'm sick of people complaining about heating time: obviously for that amount of water it won't be instantaneous. It can take just as long to heat less water in a stovetop kettle. Just grab some rags to dry or go to the bathroom, whatever. It gets hot - I see someone complaining that the vapor isn't easy to fill down the spout - it's very easy to fill with no funnel. But you have to walk slowly or he'll burp on you. ;) Wheels and handle - very easy to move. My old steamer was small but was held by a shoulder strap which became heavy and dangling. It was exhausting, it's easy to move! Cons: No place to wrap the hose - not too bad, but it could be a clamp. The handle gets a little warm - after about 30 minutes - it got warm for an hour. Not so hot that I had to stop, but warm enough to notice. But after the steam has passed, there's nothing surprising or unusual about it. I wasn't worried enough to stop what I was doing. Overall, I really like this steamer. It feels good and if you use it as intended, it won't break. It's not magic, but it makes cleaning a lot easier. You still need to dry things, complex things need more time or some kind of cleaning. I've been using it several times a week since I got it and it works as expected. But some people have crazy expectations. A few tips: Be smart, this is a cleaning tool, not a job replacement. Don't overfill it. Set the steam supply to the minimum and increase as needed. I use old towels for wiping and green washcloths for tough stuff. I've cleaned my fridge, baby stuff, glass range, sink, dirty doors (you know where they wiggle their hands on the handle), pan of baked barbecue sauce, all my switches and plates, bathroom. shower and a few other things.
