Red coating peels off immediately

Looks great new but the red coating started peeling right after the return period. It continues to flake off gradually and I predict all the red will be gone by Christmas. The red coating is as thin as cellophane and peels off as easily as cellophane. I could rip it off with my fingernail now. What a disappointment.
