My 3 year old had a hard time with the traditional boys thick elastic waist underwear. I thought we would try them on and he loves wearing them. They are soft and wash well. The elastic part at the waist is thin (thin), incredibly soft and comfortable. It was easy for a 3 year old to pull them up and down by himself, while my little man found it quite difficult to wear traditional underwear. They've survived many washes and the color hasn't faded!
