I've had these towels for about 6 months now and they haven't impressed me. I would advise buyers to keep looking as they are smaller than traditional bath towels. I felt like I stepped on a kitchen towel (size wise) but thicker. I worked in the linen industry and these towels would be good for a small apartment or RV with a shower. I had to go to Los Angeles to learn how to work with various bedding/pillows/duvets from major manufacturers. The loops on the towels are too small so they don't look plush and absorb less water. Good news. It doesn't look like they slashed the consumer in terms of the number of loops (they just shrunk them in length). In other words. If there were fewer loops overall, the towel would be rougher. Why does it matter? If the loops are further apart and shorter, it also means they are less absorbent. (The quality of the material can also make it rougher, but these towels are fine). It was good cotton and felt quite durable, but the way it was made wasn't the best in my opinion. Do not get me wrong,. This towel has a smooth feel but it was too small, the finished edges curl up the corners and feels less absorbent to me. In my opinion, these towels are not good enough for my family, but maybe I'm biased because of my preparation. Good luck there folks.
