Review on 🚲 XLC Alum Mountain Bike Pedals with 9/16" Spindle by Alex Maynard

I ordered these pedals for a mountain bike, commuting to and from work and light trail riding. The first thing that struck me about these pedals is that they are a bit heavy. It didn't bother me, but be careful when trying to lose weight on your bike. They feel durable and I'm pretty comfortable with their durability. They look great right out of the box but I removed the reflectors with a butter knife as I already have a very nice rear and front light. The modification makes the pedals cleaner in my opinion. Installed easily, no problem. The first pedal ride was on the street and my feet never slipped off the pedals, mind you that was on a flat, light colored surface. While there's plenty of grip, I wouldn't feel comfortable pedaling up inclines or riding down a mountain. These pedals are great for the price and I would buy them again. I recommend these pedals for road riding and light flat terrain.
