Solid value for money pedal

Really good pedals that hold up well for several hundred miles. Due to the one-piece construction, there is practically no annoying pedal noise. Yes mine were tight and yes I installed them correctly, let them run free what happens when the new bearings are seated and then set correctly - hence my only annoyance. If the pedals are to be adjusted, make it easy to remove the dust cap without damaging it. But for that they get a very solid five stars for performance and value. I'm a city dweller…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

These are excellent, high quality pedals and I highly recommend them. I've been using it for about 4 weeks now and so far I'm very satisfied. The product feels hard and heavy and I doubt it will break easily. Some of the other reviews here mention that they are quite stiff. Some even recommend adjusting the tightness of the bearings in the pedals. I disagree and really wouldn't recommend it. To do this, open small plastic dust covers, potentially breaking them and eventually allowing more dirt…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons

Good pedals for the price and fairly easy to install

Received these yesterday to replace the small race style pedals that came with the bike. You just screw in. It took a few tries to get the left to start, but once that was done they went in pretty easily. Well I can only describe it as a pedal wrench as that seems to be its only use. and I used that to do the last few turns as it got harder to turn with my fingers the closer I got to the frame. The tool helped a lot. Well packaged, shrink wrapped in carton. They are clearly marked on the left…

Great pedals for the road/small trail.

I ordered these pedals for a mountain bike, commuting to and from work and light trail riding. The first thing that struck me about these pedals is that they are a bit heavy. It didn't bother me, but be careful when trying to lose weight on your bike. They feel durable and I'm pretty comfortable with their durability. They look great right out of the box but I removed the reflectors with a butter knife as I already have a very nice rear and front light. The modification makes the pedals cleaner

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Good for the price!

For the price these pedals really can't be beat! I bought these because my stock pedals (Wellgo Nylon) cracked and made an awkward noise every time I pedaled. Wellgo pedals didn't last long. My bike was only bought in July and both were broken at the end of August. They appear to be very well built, they are very light and each pedal is labeled so you know which side of the crank to place it on. on the. Before installation I coated the threads with a thin layer of lithium grease. I didn't…

Adjustment needed

Good pedals for the price. When I received the pedals the bearings were too tight. I had to adjust them to loosen the lock nut a bit. To do this I used a 15mm wrench to remove the old pedal from the bike (yes the thread is 9/16 but not the outer axle - it's 15mm). Remember that the left pedal is screwed back so it can be removed clockwise. Using a utility knife or utility knife, remove the end caps of the new pedals to expose the outer nut. I don't have a vise, so I loosely secured the new…
