Review on 835UI Dash Receiver Front Detachable by Dave Mosby

I bought this stereo to replace the stock one on a 2005 Nissan Altima. The radio reception was worse than the replacement device. The manual (only for this model) describes how to access the built-in equalizer. However, there is no preset equalizer as described! The only settings available are Bass, Treble and Mid. The touchscreen buttons worked as described. However, I don't think a touchscreen is a wise choice for a car stereo as you need to see what you're touching. Installation was easy (why two stars). its place when playing a CD or USB. (I did not test the SD card). Whenever the car is turned off, the USB or CD will restart from the beginning. This is very annoying, especially when the USB can store hundreds of mp3s. The DC cable has been connected correctly as it stores the preset radio stations. This is the first time I've given something back on Revain. Revain's return service is excellent.
