My family had chairs that looked just like this when I was a kid back in the 70s/80s so I got these based on that nostalgia, however, they are actually very, VERY comfortable! The colors are bright, the chairs are sturdy and stable (which the old school ones we had were not always that way LOL) and they have a larger seat than the average beach/lawn chair, which is wonderful if you are a taller/larger person.or if you just want a chair that is truly COMFY and you don't feel like you have to squeeze into.They fold down pretty well and don't take a lot of room to store.easy to carry, too.and while they are sturdy, they are also light weight so you don't feel like you are lugging a 100 lb hunk of metal along the beach. They fit in the back of an SUV, no problem.very easy to fold and unfold too.They are a little higher priced that many lawn chairs, but I believe them to be worth it as they really are sturdy and so comfortable. These should last for a long time too. Highly recommend!
