Review on Tangle Teezer Styler: Achieve Smooth and Detangled Hair with Lilac Gleam Brush by Ada Sztajerowska ᠌

Nice price, good quality.

This brush has been in my possession for the past half a year. It was suggested to me by a hairdresser who noticed that my hair was becoming extremely tangled for no apparent reason, so I decided to give it a try. For convenience in carrying it in a handbag, I went for the more compact option. The design is not only extremely comfortable but also does not take up a lot of space and can be held easily in one hand. The comb features a practical cap that protects the villi from becoming damaged when it is being transported; since the cover does not open, it does not present any additional challenges to the user. The combing process alone did not result in a miraculous occurrence. Whenever my long, thick hair is really tangled, I use a brush of any kind and start combing from the very tips working my way down toward the roots. My impression is that using this comb will result in hair loss (this may be subjective due to the specific sound when combing). It will just go around mats of any size as if they were not there; however, you will still have to unwind it by hand. I have heard that you should comb wet hair with a bang, but I don't actually do it. After being thoroughly cleaned, the comb should be dried with the teeth facing down and without a cap; otherwise, water will be trapped inside. It might be very difficult to get the hair out from between the villi. In a nutshell, I take it with me when I go trekking since it is so necessary to me while I am away from home because of how convenient it is.

Pros
  • It has a small footprint, a comfy design, and is simple to clean.
Cons
  • Does not detangle snarled hair; instead, it goes around the tangles.
