My daughter wore Maxu Girls Sandals Bowknot Mary Janes to the father daughter dance in the first grade. I was concerned before buying the shoes because I had bought shoes from a different manufacturer for a different dance just a month before. These shoes hurt her little feet in the middle of the night. Maxu Girl's Mary Jane bow sandals were perfect, she could wear them all night and when we took them off there were no bruises on her small feet which let me know they were the size I ordered.
