Review on 🧦 Cushees Premium 3-Pack Ankle Socks, Size 166 by Dewitt Graham

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They do have chunky soles (unlike many other brands that claim they are)

Only worn twice so far but these chunky socks from Cushees really do have chunky feet like the very expensive Thorlos brand "heavy pillow" " Models for tennis, basketball etc. Even if the material from Cushees may not look as "luxurious" as Thorlos, they are about a third cheaper. Another thing that struck me right away is that the legs on these Cushees look and feel almost exactly like the PowerSox Pro-Thicks (unfortunately they feel cheap now - much thinner, less soft, smaller). In short, at the moment these Cushee socks appear to be the best thickly lined socks at a reasonable price. The question is how they will perform over time with daily use and after many dozens of wash/dry cycles. My experience with both expensive Thorlos and very cheap PowerSox Pro-Thicks has shown that stress points (like the big toe) will puncture and heels thin as you walk miles every day. Finally, I can't help but point out that most of the other brands I've tried that claim to have thick or heavy padding actually don't have that type of padding unless you're comparing them to sheer socks or women's socks . Socks. Update six months later: After changing 3 pairs totaling about 500 miles at the gym, each pair washed at least 30-40 times and now ready to be replaced, heels are severely thinned and starting to leak . holes in fingers. Not bad for the price of $6 or $7 a pair. In comparison, they lasted twice as long as my Thorlos and the original, higher-end PowerSox Pro-Thicks (the new Pro-Thicks are even worse).
