I'm not short (6'4", 300+ pounds) and I ride my bike regularly. a couple of handlebar mirrors in the past but the problem was my arms weren't stretched out far enough to see around me behind mine.I like watching our formation, making sure everyone is keeping up and there are no problems and looking out for overtaking vehicles With our old mirrors I had to distort a lot to see behind me and also the old mirror tended to vibrate/wobble to the point where it was difficult to see anything clearly - a much clearer view right behind me without grimacing (which would also require concentration. Roads and increase the risk of accidents). Second, for some reason, this mirror doesn't vibrate or wobble at all ers as strong as previous mirrors, making the image much sharper and easier to see at a glance, which also improves road perception and safety. I have one of these. The mirrors are for me to try out and they work so well I'm getting two more for the rest of the family. Highly recommended.
