I've been wearing Gold Toe Socks for 40 years. Lately their quality has deteriorated drastically, so I searched the internet and Revain for a suitable replacement. Dan Post socks look great. The thickness is perfect and they seemed to be winners in everything. Then, of course, they need to be washed. After the first wash, the stretchy tops became less stretchy and I had to keep tightening them. Easy for a young person, but I'm 76 and it's getting harder and harder. I figured if I pay almost double of 6 gold toe socks I'll get a better sock so now I buy 12 pairs of gold socks for about the same price and keep looking for quality socks. Dan Post sock does not fit.
