This timer and power strip does exactly what they say it does, nothing more, nothing less! The timer is easy to set, press the time you want the timer to run/not work up and down. You can set it up within 15 minutes. The timer only affects one side of the strip, so I only hooked up lights for my turtle tank on that side; The heater, filter and bubbler are connected on the other side. It's a pity that half of the time page isn't activated when the others aren't activated (i.e. having 2 sockets during the day, 2 sockets at night and 4 sockets permanently), but for this kind of functionality I expect more has to pay for, so this isn't a complaint about the product itself, just a feature I'll look for if I decide to upgrade in the future! (maybe something like: Coralife Aqualight Power Center Timer) Plug alignment can be an issue if you have big forks, I don't know so it didn't matter to me, but check your plugs and power strip before buying to make sure that you will not have any problems when you receive the product. * I've only had him for about a month but will update this review if/when he dies; when I feel that he died prematurely.
