Enhance Your Aquarium with the Zoo Med AquaSun Aquarium Controller Timer & Power Strip - White Review

I ordered 2 of these timers first. One worked and the other had a broken socket rendering it unusable. I have requested a replacement which Amazon always impresses with their customer service. The third timer I received was also defective. This time the timer part doesn't work. I had to file a second lawsuit. At that time I got my money back. I would not waste my time with this product. 2 out of 3 bad - not much of a chance.

In theory it was a good idea but I had 2 problems with this product.1. Zoo Med needed to know that aquarium equipment (lights in particular) had these square plugs so on the time side I was only able to use 2/4 the wattage for my lights. Maybe they should have turned the last exit perpendicular to the others.2. One of the outlets had internal damage and I couldn't plug anything into it. I opted for an ordinary extension cord with a two-socket timer attached to it to time the lighting time.

This timer and power strip does exactly what they say it does, nothing more, nothing less! The timer is easy to set, press the time you want the timer to run/not work up and down. You can set it up within 15 minutes. The timer only affects one side of the strip, so I only hooked up lights for my turtle tank on that side; The heater, filter and bubbler are connected on the other side. It's a pity that half of the time page isn't activated when the others aren't activated (i.e. having 2 sockets…
