To replace these bulbs, use a small flathead screwdriver to pry the edges of the clear lens cap. Once this is removed the outer ring can be easily removed with a screwdriver to pry up the edges. You can then see the four screws that attach the lamp base to the ceiling. Loosen all four screws and pull the lamp base down. Then you will see connecting wires. I currently have a light hanging but I need to cut the wires to remove and replace it. I am currently giving four stars because frankly their instructions suck. Update: The light was installed within three days. It took a few seconds to install the first time and now it works perfectly. Looks just like the original lamp that came with it. The screws are a bit smaller so I had to make new holes and the screw pattern was different.
