This is due to the plastic growth under the clamp.

Instructions not included. However, it comes with everything you need except an Allen key. It comes with an Allen key with a set screw that holds the watch in place. However, you must use your own allen key to tighten it to the handlebars. It comes with a clear plastic cover under the terminals. Easy to see while driving. The face glows in the dark. Works well!
