Once set up, you'll never leave your phone at home. Just don't forget that the app needs to be running all the time. I've found that the distance can be checked depending on what's between you and the phone. For a quick check I put my iPhone in the fridge and went into the next room. Bingo, SpotyPal is down. When I left my iPhone in the kitchen and got in the car, SpotyPal went offline while I was in the driveway. If your phone is hidden on the couch, just press the SpotyPal button to call your phone. Many Thanks. They support SpotyPal. 1 Jul 2021 Original review below Unable to connect When I press + to connect, the bluetooth button doesn't activate. Bluetooth activated? I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, removed the battery from SpotyPal for 3 minutes, restarted my phone, etc. I tried the app on my iPad with exactly the same results. When I tried to contact support their form asks for a device id:* which I don't have as the device needs to be plugged in to get it. I've spent too much time getting this to work Try the following. On the Add a device requirements page, open Phone Control Center and toggle Bluetooth off and on again. After that, click on the "Next” button and you can add the device normally. ****************** That helped. Now it's connected. I will update this review later.
