This meant my 50" LG couldn't be low enough for me, but with a small modification I got it down to a manageable height. This only required using the top mounting screws on the TV and of the bottom holes on the TV mount (the top screws will carry all the weight anyway. After the TV was hung on the stand, I drilled and used metal screws to attach the bottom bracket to the bottom mounting plate. This made the stand more stable and only took a minute The stand should be shorter but that will work for most people The stand is solid, looks good and is easy to assemble.
