I bought this to prevent my wireless router from overheating and causing reliability issues. While it serves its purpose, I'm not entirely happy with it. The fans work and aren't very noisy, and the router's temperature has dropped quite a bit, but the USB connector is uncomfortable and non-removable, and the LEDs are annoyingly bright. I don't think this cooling pad can cool a laptop much, especially a high-end laptop when it's powered on.
