Review on 🏎️ Denso 234-9005 Oxygen Sensor: Unparalleled Performance and Precision by Scott Hadlock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Solved my problem at the best price.

Purchased this oxygen sensor for my 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid after the check engine light came on and Autozone drew a code (P035) for me. Autozone charged $165 for the same part, so I was happy to get it here for less than $100. Removing the old sensor was a little tricky. There are two terminals for wire connection. One clip is for attaching to the vehicle and the other clip on the opposite side of the link is for connecting to the other clip. It took me longer than I can imagine to disassemble the plugs. It was also difficult to remove the old sensor as it was quite rusty. I didn't buy any of those specialty tools that slide on the nut, but got lucky after spraying WD40 on it, removing the heat shield (5 bolts) and then using a large wrench (tightening the wrench with a hammer). Fitting the new part wasn't difficult but I panicked a bit after smoke started coming out of the area (it was only WD40) and it also took a day of driving before the check engine light went out. no complaints. Best deal I've found anywhere (seen on ebay, oreilly's, autozone, etc.). I have no idea what he's doing, but he got rid of my code and I'm glad.
