I really like these plastic curtains. equipment included. Ease of installation. Suggestion: It's best to use a wooden batten behind the plastic to support the frame. Here you can see side by side to protect the window from too strong sun. Architecturally, they match the house. They filter the light. Not solid but adds shade protection and privacy and lets filtered light through. I was able to trim the floor in minutes. Very easy to set up. Then use ultra-fine sandpaper to sand down the new edge. So adjusting the bottom size was easy and they still look pretty good. The neighbor liked them and thought they were real trees. These shutters look just as good on the sides of the window as traditionally pictured. Again, use the wooden batten behind the plastic to support the frame. The fabricated floor is 4 inches which I cut to 1.5. So there will usually be a more finished and cosmetic finish in the base, but I was able to customize it to suit our needs.
