I have a problem with a mountain lion. They tend to visit the same places I walk in the dark. I know, I know, it's not very smart. In the last 30 years, I have seen 6 mountain lions initially while running (marathon runners). I always joke that I wonder how many times I've been seen when I've seen 6? In any case, fortunately, the mountain lion's eyes glow with a bright white light. So I need light. When the weather is chilly I wear a visor or hat with a flashlight on the brim. In summer, when it's warmer, I prefer not to wear a hat. This light was a great solution. I strap it around my waist and get more than enough light to run. The lamp comes with a gel case with a magnetic clip. The magnet is strong and also holds through the thick waistband of my running tights. A tip: the light is packaged in such a way that it has to be removed from the gel case to charge it. Flipping it in the opposite direction keeps the charging port and switch free of gel and makes them much easier to use. This little light comes with a couple of ties that work on the arms and legs. It also attaches to the bag and stays there and I'm sure it attaches securely to the elastic reflective band. It's too new for me to rate battery life, but it's easy to charge so I'm not worried about that.
