Very bright and efficient when charged daily

As someone wrote they last 1-1/2-2 hours max on one charge and they start to fade as they wear out, so charging them between uses is important. Besides that I love her. I put one on to light up the pavement in front of me and the other on my pup's harness so I can see what he's sniffing or picking up! Much more relaxed walks since I have these lanterns. I have comments from a UPS driver who wants one for his dog and another person who trains in the dark. I had one night where the pup came off…

Great for running! in Accessories

I bought these to run in the evenings and still feel safe crossing the street, running the driveway and walking the path (where there aren't many lights). They are SUPER bright and really blinding, so don't look at them directly or hold them at eye level (damage other people's eyes). You have 4 settings: high, medium, low and pulsing (all levels are still very bright). I clip them to my legging pockets and they really help illuminate the floor and the cars can't miss you. The magnets are really

Very useful: Reflective gear

I have a problem with a mountain lion. They tend to visit the same places I walk in the dark. I know, I know, it's not very smart. In the last 30 years, I have seen 6 mountain lions initially while running (marathon runners). I always joke that I wonder how many times I've been seen when I've seen 6? In any case, fortunately, the mountain lion's eyes glow with a bright white light. So I need light. When the weather is chilly I wear a visor or hat with a flashlight on the brim. In summer, when…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Short battery life, poorly attached

At first I thought it would be the perfect lighting for my morning walks. For its size, the thing is very bright. And it's light and compact, easy to use. There is 1 button to toggle between on, off and strobe mode. But since I've had it for a few months, the cons really add up. Battery life is ridiculously short, 1 1/2-2 hours max. I walk/run about 90 minutes each day and this needs to be charged daily or it won't work. I forget to charge it for days, it's so dim when I start a walk that I…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
