I bought these to run in the evenings and still feel safe crossing the street, running the driveway and walking the path (where there aren't many lights). They are SUPER bright and really blinding, so don't look at them directly or hold them at eye level (damage other people's eyes). You have 4 settings: high, medium, low and pulsing (all levels are still very bright). I clip them to my legging pockets and they really help illuminate the floor and the cars can't miss you. The magnets are really strong, but lose their power if your sweater or jacket is too thick, like my running jacket. The battery life is pretty good too - if I run for an hour every day they last almost 1-2 weeks. Usually by the middle of 2 weeks you will notice them getting darker but they are so easy and quick to charge. They also come with elastic bands that you can maybe use around your waist or your head. I haven't used them yet. Overall I am very happy with my purchase!
