From a design standpoint, this is a great idea - it can hold your laptop upright, long side or short side (you need to make sure your vents aren't blocked, however when you align the laptop). The only constructive detail that could be improved would be that the power connection for the inductive charger could be placed on the back (currently has to come out of the device on the left). The fit and finish is good, but I wonder who in the factory uses power tools on the hex screws that adjust the "clamp" - all the hex slots were so badly deformed that it was difficult to adjust with the tool provided . But overall, a thumbs up and a great idea for clearing up your desktop a bit.
