I had a specific job that required the end of the embedded HDMI cable to be replaced. There's no way I could have done it less than 5 times as long if I hadn't been able to test this device. After documenting the correct pinout for the cable I was using, I could use it to test new connections to make sure each line was good, and then that the finished thing was complete and working. safe in different positions and every step of the way as I closed the new ending. If I didn't use a tester it would just be the process of checking the cable over and over again and guessing which line might be the problem. My only negative reviews are: 1, there is a button on the device to repeat the test that the device runs when it is turned on, but not only does this button not work, it also doesn't work. doesn't want to stay in the device and can be pulled out like an eraser. 2 sometimes seemed like he was reading on certain lines that I couldn't explain - for example line 5 is open when it's clearly closed. But then it will be read correctly next time. However, in the end it did enough work for me to finish and run.
