Update: 07/21/2019 Works without problems. Survived the winter in Boston. Let's see what happens after this summer! So far, so good. First Review: We have been using Alexa for almost 3 years and are adding new devices as needed. We decided to buy a new 3rd Gen Echo Point that came with a LIFX LED bulb. Since it was only $5 more with the Echo Dot, we wanted to give it a try. Installation was very easy and sharing with Alexa only took 2 minutes. Unfortunately, the dimming function did the job for me and Amazon customer service resolved the issue by sending a replacement. All functions work perfectly, the pairing is very pleasant. You should always open the front door after dark, especially when you have your hands full. So we put it outside so we could check it before we got home. Works great The second installation of the replacement device took a while, but after updating the firmware it immediately connected to the smart home network. Just don't forget to check if there is an update or not. The product comes in a very nice packaging and the instructions are easy to understand. The light is more than sufficient for outdoor installation, but I wouldn't want to use it in the bedroom or office. or kitchen. The toilet down the hall is a good place to have one. So far it works great and I can get another one if I need it. I will update the outdoor use information when the cold winter hits our city. I don't know if 2 or more bulbs will work together without problems, but I will test it soon. So far very satisfied. I recommend an economical solution.
