Smart bulbs that aren't so smart

This is the second time I've bought Mini LIFX bulbs with identical results. They work fine for months only to upgrade the hardware and stop working in Apple Home altogether. I've tried removing them from the Apple Home app and resetting the lightbulb and can't reconnect to them. The picture doesn't show one of my bulbs because this time, unlike my first case, I only tried one bulb and reset all three bulbs when I reset. before you buy new ones. • Constant test results
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

SmartThings users think twice

This item has been "offered" to another item purchased last week. I saw the suggestion, did a quick google search to see if it's compatible with SmartThings and it turns out it is. Still had some homework to do, a few surprises today when I set it up. Since we're using this at the side entrance to our home, we thought it would be a good idea to automate that area as well. Today, when I unpacked it, I found that it is not recommended for outdoor use. Rolled the dice and kept going, it wouldn'tโ€ฆ
