The best thing about this phone holder is that it doesn't stick out or ruin your dashboard. It snaps into the space between the vents and sits there very securely, no play or dangling. The actual phone stand is removed and only the base remains, small and unobtrusive. The phone stand is pretty good. You hang up the phone and your hands close around the phone. I don't have a bulky phone case, but it barely fits in the holder. Heavier cases or maybe phones with slide outs on the back may not work. Very large phones may not be suitable either. My A52 with suitcase is stuck. I recommend this phone holder, I'm happy with it and glad I found it.
