Started with Synology first because some online reviews said Qnap is much more complicated than Synology. In fact, I've had Synology for quite some time and couldn't figure out many settings. When they contacted Synology Support, they just copied the links from the manual. Qnap technical support is very helpful. human approach. explanation available. Also, the Qnap OS is much easier to understand than Synology, at least for me. I'm glad I switched to Qnap.
