Received this yesterday and didn't realize it didn't have an umbrella holder. I live in Costa Rica so couldn't return it, figured I'd change the ring, I just drilled a small hole for the umbrella stick to go through the hole and tie back with a vencro wire tie on the back arm, the change took time about 5 minutes (10 minutes for both) and worked great, the only thing is that when changing you have to move the ring a bit to align it with the plastic mount and you lose the top socket because the bulb doesn't fit but when you don't mind working with 4 of you are great. You can use 4 x 105 watt fluorescent lights and you get about 1900 watts of power from 4 lights, that's great.
