Review on πŸš— AUTOSOCK 645 Tire Chain Alternative Upgrade for Optimal Performance by Ken Coste

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Autosock brought me home!

I picked her up for the rare time it snows here in Portland, Oregon. We recently had the fifth biggest snowfall in history. Put these perfect car socks on my 18 inch less than normal wheel arch spacing alloy wheels. I have a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 with manual transmission. A heated garage was used for the installation, very easy compared to cables or chains. I ventured into a hilly area with ice and snow (see pictures). To be honest, I was very impressed with the traction. At first I was skeptical. The next day I figured I could climb the incline of my road WITHOUT autosocks and got stuck. I just jumped out of the hatch I was storing them in and in less than 10 minutes I was sliding onto the stocks. The car drove up the hill to my driveway. And vice versa with the same effects of great traction, by the way. really impressed with this product. The only caveat is not to leave them on the tires overnight in the snow because if they freeze they will stick to the pavement and damage it. And you should not drive on dry pavement for a long time, as this will obviously wear out the material. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
