I was very concerned about ordering this wine glass as reviews from other sellers mentioned how fragile they are. When I ordered these there were no reviews for this seller and they stressed that they came in nice packaging which was important to me as I was planning on keeping them for a while so I took a chance. They were well packed in a nice box. Box (the one shown in the picture) but Revain could have done better as they sent it with other items and I think the box was a little wobbly given the contents. I lined the countertops with kitchen towels and prepared to take them out of the packaging. The lenses are paper thin, as are the legs, and they're just beautiful. I was so afraid of breaking them that instead of dunking them in the large plastic tub I prepared, I doused them in soapy water. We rinsed and dried them and carefully repackaged them. I think it would be nice to display them, which I will eventually do, but I would have reservations about using them for guests, if only for the sole reason that I'm concerned that they could easily break during use - which I do would do. don't wish it on anyone. I know if I were a guest and someone used them I would be very concerned that I might damage them. They may be stronger than they look as we only tested them with water for a minute. We will only use them for my husband and I. They weren't very expensive, and when they break, they break. I don't regret the purchase and would do it again.
