I have never traveled with my dog who is an elderly person and can be naughty at times so it was very important to me that we both felt comfortable on this upcoming adventure. This is an 11 pound Pomeranian so I went with a medium sized (17 inch) carrier. It worked great! We flew on a Southwest Airlines flight and it fit comfortably under the seat of a Boeing 737. I really liked the zippered windows on all sides, so it was easy to reach out and pet him or give him water. Another great detail (probably reserved for cat escape artists) is the tiny zip pulls on each of these zips, effectively enclosing them. But the best feature is the fabric slit sewn into one side of the carrier that slips over the handle of your luggage. so don't wear it! Overall a well built aircraft carrier that has survived three flights with no damage or wear. She had every opportunity to promote carefree travel. If only it would stop my dog from barking at TSA agents! HA!
