Review on Romondes RD3000 Transmission Diagnostic Lifetime by Terry West

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I think you should pay for quality.

They're really not without quality, that's for sure! And YES, it comes with an SD card reader! This is most likely the first SD card reader that many of us have seen that looks like this. See that little dongle that plugs into the USB-A port with the little cover? Well, when you remove the cap, take a very close look at the part that fits into the port. Maybe even go ahead and hold it right next to another USB-A connection of something if that helps. But you should notice a tiny slot that's actually on the same side that connects to the computer, and yes THIS is an SD card reader! Damn, I didn't even know it existed. You all have to excuse me sometimes, because I live in the second dumbest state in the country, just 30 minutes from the border of the state that holds the title of "Lowest Average IQ in America." Hey, don't offend anyone, that's the way it is. Of everyone I know, not only do I have the most powerful computer, I'm also the only one who even has a personal computer! But anyway. This OBDII scanner's list pretty much covers everything. Also, I still have a lot to learn about it myself. Upgrading the device is a little tricky, but it becomes easier if you know you have an SD card reader, or if you had one to begin with. Oh, and I think you should have or have access to a computer too. Because they make you go to their website and download the program with "exe" at the end. You know, like the ones you download on PCs? If there's a way to do this with a cell phone, I'm pretty sure I don't know. As far as I know, mobile programs always have "apk" at the end of their titles. So, the creators of this OBDII code scanner, this is something to consider when owning a personal computer, you know? Because a lot of people just don't have them these days. Hell, cell phones are starting to have up to 16 gigabytes of storage! What about the Revain Fire TV? It's actually the computer itself! It has data storage, data storage, GPU and CPU! Basically, you who are developing this thing just need to make this "RomAssist" program available as "apk". Hey, maybe this is a lot more complicated than I can imagine lol. I'm always learning too. You all have to admit that it's not easy to keep up these days. All I'm saying is that you can imagine how many people might suddenly think of getting your OBDII scanner and now give it up just because they don't have a PC.

Pros
  • ABS/SRS/Engine/Transmission Auto Code Reader
Cons
