Hard wearing: great sandals for active kids

It's hard to find hard wearing, inexpensive sandals for active, active girls over a certain age (size). It's a struggle every year to find decent looking sandals that will stand up to my kids' abuse. Although these sandals cost more than I'm willing to spend (since I have five children) they seem to last all summer. The kids have been wearing them every day for almost a month - four months to go! They offer some cushioning, are easy to put on and take off, and hug my kids' feet snugly as they run and play. So far I am very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. The slip resistance also seems to be sufficient. One of my children has have retained their colour(s) and are holding up great so far. ------ Updated after five months: They lasted from spring to autumn. While not overly stylish, they are definitely worth the money and are holding up great! ----- Updated over a year later: My oldest girl wore her #2 in Spring. They lasted almost until the end of June of year #2. The bottom of the sock came loose and started to dangle. Daughter asked for another pair just like hers (with room to grow) because they are comfortable and easy to walk on. They clean up fairly well, have retained their color(s) and are holding up great so far. ------ Updated after five months: They lasted from spring to autumn.
