I used this to clean the "leather" car seats in my Toyota RAV4. It did a good job of removing accumulated dirt and stains from jeans. I have also used it on a leather sofa and I would add a note to that. It cleaned the skin well, but be careful if the skin is already damaged. The cleaner exposes clean skin beneath the stain. My couch had hair oil damage on the headrest and the cleaner removed the oil which made the damage a little noticeable. It's not the cleaner's fault, just be aware that previously damaged items will be cleaned.
