First of all, I didn't buy this product from Amazon, I bought it from a local thrift store. I was searching for my usual places for hiking gear when I saw this round shoulder bag. I opened it up a bit and my first impression was something like a reinforced soda can pocket or food cooler. I discovered that this is a brand new never used charcoal grill. For $4 I think this is all I need to cook camping meals for my family. We actually got charcoal and used it last night. Our only complaint was that it's a little smaller than we expected, but it works perfectly - thank you! I lined the floor with foil and then lit the coals. It was great, and for outdoor camping it's a great way to ensure our propane tanks are only used for heating during the winter months! I can't say how long this little thing will last, but it's only used on our camping trips so it might last us longer than someone who wants to use it regularly at home. This is probably not the right product. for the camper/backpacker because it's too much to carry around and can be a heavy option compared to proven and accepted lightweight gear. However, it's perfectly housed in a tiny pop-up camper van! :) This can be a great option for apartment dwellers with a tiny balcony since it's the size of a hibachi. I hope this helped.
