I'll have a backup for when the second original comes out. Following the instructions, it was easy to connect to the car. After testing these remotes with the original, I only noticed a slight delay between pressing the button and the action. On the original remote, the action happens as a button press, but on the new remotes, the action happens when I release the button. To be honest if I hadn't had the original I probably wouldn't have noticed and I'm sure it will become the new normal when the original fails and I start using it. Plus they have the same efficiency at at least 40-50 feet and they look and feel like the originals. I will update as I use them more. Hope that helps.
