There is one downside that makes this a terrible backup for your laptop. That means there is almost no padding at the bottom of the pack. This will not protect the edge of your laptop. There are pads on both sides (to protect the top and bottom of the laptop). There is a thin sealing strip at the bottom. But that thin strip is misaligned and mostly out of place so it doesn't touch the edge of your laptop. So the only thing that separates your laptop from the surface you place it on is the fabric of the case. Not a pad. They should have made this pad wider.
