So the handle gets hot and you need a kitchen glove to open the door. When you set the cooking timer, it starts counting down immediately and doesn't wait for the preheating to finish. There's also no beep or anything to let you know the preheat is complete. Oh, and the control buttons are poorly designed: the top button controls the option at the bottom of the screen and the bottom button controls the option at the top of the screen - why are the controls upside down? On top of that, the temperature is only adjustable up to 10 degrees, so you can't do 425F, you can only do 420 or 430. Those quarks annoy me because my ten-year-old BLACK & DECKER toaster didn't have any of those weird design flaws. Other things to note: The crumb tray fits in very loosely - there's a half inch of space that isn't covered by the crumb tray, so there's bound to be crumbs underneath that are difficult to clean. To be honest if I had known these things before ordering this I would have gotten something else. I hope these pointers help someone else make a more informed purchase.
