Seems to work but instructions are missing

Bought to test my PSU on an old server I'm using that just died on mine. Thought at $16 it would be worth getting this rather than trying to replace parts with trial and error. I've never used any of these before, so I wasn't sure what the results should be. The package says it includes; Power supply tester, user manual. If you name the 3 lines on the back of the packaging with the title "Operating Methods" as operating instructions, you lose a star. But a quick search online turned up a video of someone using it, so it was pretty easy for me to figure out what it was supposed to be doing. (Step B says, and I quote "Power on, "DuDu" sound is heard, if there is no flicker, the power supply output voltage is normal"). Overall it seems to have worked so I can't deduct another star. (I ordered a power supply, so I'm still not sure if that's the problem, but I tried it on a couple of old computers I had lying around and it seemed to give the right results for a working power supply ).

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...
