Living in an apartment is difficult to change the place and wiring. I have a router in the living room and one of the bedrooms, the signal will travel through the room. Was thinking about wiring but found this extension and works great! Installation took 5 seconds. Unpack and plug into an outlet. Easy enough. Download the TP-Link app to set it up and again it only took a few minutes if you follow the app's instructions. It creates 2 more SSIDs (when using 2.4 & 5GHz signals) named the same as the current Wi-Fi but with Ext at the end. During setup, you'll disconnect from your wireless network and temporarily connect to the extender. You can then choose which repeater you want to connect to. It's also easy to check which clients are connected to it. It is recommended to place between the router and the dead zone. Remember that the weaker the signal received, the weaker it will be transmitted. This is not a magic box. Keep that in mind when deciding where to install it. The speed is great and now the whole apartment is finally covered. If we move to a larger location, there will definitely be more. Note: Sometimes your device will automatically switch the Wi-Fi SSID, but like in our apartment, sometimes it doesn't. If your speed is slowing down, always check what device you are connected to.
