I have had several different kettles and this is by far the worst of the three. When the kettle boils, the kettle starts shaking. a lot of. This can be very frustrating as you can easily tip the kettle over accidentally. Sometimes there are problems closing the lid, if you close the lid too quickly you can damage the filter mesh. Even if the lid is closed slowly and carefully, sometimes the mesh filter will not snap back and will not seat properly. All in all I would not recommend this product.
