A few things.1. The front and back edges of the jewelry are sharp, causing irritation and cuts2. It is not hypoallergenic surgical steel. My earlobes formed after just a few days of use.3. Surgical stainless steel does not rust and is not very reactive. The fact that they are warned not to take them off when showering or sweating completely contradicts the claims. The threads are on the outside of them, leading to potential irritation when placed on or removed from the posts.5. The backs came off several times.6. The thread on the back can be very difficult to start or remove. While they looked very nice, I would not recommend anyone buying them without being able to file edges or having a known metal/nickel allergy.
