I needed a fan for my mother's room, she can't reach chains anymore. So I went for this one with good features and I love the design where the color of the wood matches the rest of my mother's furniture. Everything was packed perfectly, nothing was damaged even when unpacking. Very easy to install, about 30 minutes, mainly because of the wiring, which I did as well. The fan comes with a remote kit that makes it very easy to solder the wires and then just connect it to the ceiling. The mount was very easy to install, it fit perfectly the first time I made sure the alignment screws were even. So I'm happy to say I didn't have to add weight to the blades for balance. The good thing is I don't have to add any bulbs as it has its own LED panel which effectively connects to the base with just magnets, no screws required. Where also it would be easy to replace if ever needed. I just love this remote, it feels good in hand and is very responsive from anywhere in the room which I was delighted to see. There are no cons, the fan works perfectly, which makes me very happy with the purchase.
